Diana Winston started practicing meditation in Dharmasala, India in 1989, and then spent the next 10 years in meditation retreats, including a year as a Buddhist nun in the Burmese jungle. In the next decade she continued to practice and train as a Buddhist meditation teacher and spent many years teaching insight meditation.
